Soliloquy

Irrepressible thou, o heart of mine,
Unfading, unquenchable the voice of thine,
Thou talk of passion, thou talk of fire,
Of heavens pleasant and situations dire.

Naiver than the naivest thou,
Chaster than the chastest vow,
Ignorant of the worldly bounds,
Swaying readily to hankering sounds.

Be thou gone,need no more,
Your absence sweet and presence sour,
Liveth simple, liveth free,
Life is simple , let it be!
